The following before and after pictures of Dr. Gallico's Blepharoplasty patients illustrate a wide range of changes depending on the preoperative condition of the eyes. In all cases the result is clear, but not obvious to the casual observer. You won't look like you've had eyelid surgery; you'll just look 'bright eyed and bushy tailed', the eyes more open and brighter.

This 47 year old woman was concerned particularly about the overhang of her eyelids onto her upper lid eyelashes. With concealed incisions and scars the excess upper eyelid skin, muscle, and fat was removed. Her eyes have a much brighter and younger appearance.

The same patient is shown in before and after pictures demonstrating how the surgery opens and brightens the upper lids.

This 38 year old woman was concerned about the excess upper lid overhang, but more importantly the marked bulging bags of the lower lids. Dr. Gallico reduced the fullness and bulging of the lower lid through an incision insides the lid (transconjunctival) which leaves no scar.

The same patient is shown in before and after pictures illustrating the improvement in lower lid contour by the transconjunctival (scarless) removal of excess lower lid fat, the source of the bulging bags of her lower lids before blepharoplasty surgery.

In Dr. Gallico's blepharoplasty eyelid lift surgery, excess skin, muscle, and fat are removed to open the eyes and the eyelids as shown above. This is all excess eyelid tissues which have built up over time and account for the sagging of the eyelids and the 'bags' protruding out on the lower lids. After Dr. Gallico removes these excess tissues, the eyelids will return to a more youthful appearance.
