Brow Forehead Eyebrow Lift G. Gregory Gallico, MD

Brow Forehead Eyebrow Lift

As time passes all of our eyebrows are pulled down by gravity. As the eyebrows come down they sag over the lids, obscuring the upper eyelids. The eyebrow descent makes the eyes smaller and darker and older appearing. A Brow Lift or Forehead lift will rejuvenate the upper lids and brow. As part of the surgery and at the same time the forehead muscles can be reduced to minimize wrinkles between the eyebrows, on the upper nose, and across the forehead. The overall effect of the Brow Lift or Forehead Lift is to produce a younger, brighter appearance.

BROW LIFT BLURB

This 42 year old woman was concerned about the extra folds of eyelid hanging over her upper lids so that they rested right on the eyelashes. The heavy brow cast a shadow which darkened her eyes. The Brow Lift and Blepharoplasty (eyelid lift) elevated and removed the excess tissue producing a brighter and younger appearance to her eyes. Muscle reduction in the forehead reduced wrinkles making her appear less tired or angry.

BROW LIFT BLURB

The same 42 year old woman is shown before and after Forehead and Brow Lift and Upper eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty). The combined procedures restore the upper lids to their normal open and bright appearance making the eyes seem 'more open'.
