Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH)

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) was founded in 1821 and has remained as one of the premiere hospitals in the world. Dr. Gallico graduated from the Harvard Medical School, after assisting in the medical care of patients in the original Bulfinch building, and completed his training in Surgery and Plastic Surgery at the MGH. He has remained as a Plastic Surgeon at the Massachusetts General Hospital since 1981.

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) was founded in 1811, and its first building was designed in Boston by Charles Bullfinch. The original Bulfinch building of the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) was near the banks of the Charles River and patients were sometimes brought to the hospital by boat.
