Before and After Pictures of Breast Reduction Patients

Case 1. This 38 year old woman desired reduction of her very large, asymmetric breasts (DD cup) which caused neck and back pain and bra strap grooving of her shoulders. Her breasts were reduced in all dimensions including nipple diameter and made more similar to each other in size.

Case 2: This 42 year old patient had developed very large breasts after several pregnancies and breast feeding. Breast reduction by Dr. Gallico brought her from a DD cup size to a C/D cup size. Her pre-operative shoulder grooving from her bra strap and back and neck pain were much improved after surgery. Because of her height and weight, her surgery was only partially covered by insurance.

Case 3 This 38 year old woman developed significantly enlarged breasts afte several pregnancies. The breasts were asymmetric and sagged down severely. She also had shoulder grooving and neck and back pain. Dr. Gallico did a breast reduction to a C to D cup (depending on the bra type). Her nipples and areolas were also reduced in size and diameter.

Case 3: This same 38 year old woman is shown before and after breast reduction. The very large breasts were elevated so they no longer hung down on the abdomen. The nipples were made smaller and lifted back up to a more normal position. The necessary scars can be seen, but are usually minimal. (If the patient has a natural tendency to form large scars, that may happen after breast reduction surgery.)
