Chin Augmentation Enlargement with Chin Implant

A small or retrusive chin can be enlarged or made more prominent by placing a chin implant under the skin on the bone to fill out a weak chin. Dr. Gallico places the chin implant through a small incision inside the mouth and lips. This approach leaves no external scar and heals very quickly. (Other surgeons may use leave a scar under the chin which is a 'giveaway' that chin implant surgery has been performed.) Dr. Gallico will also work out with you the size change you, the patient, desires by computer simulation on your face image in advance of the surgery. In addition, Dr. Gallico uses an implant which is the same texture as the chin so that it feels quite normal and natural.
